Did you know that The Magic Circle has a Facebook page?
The Magic Circle is a real life social network for magicians. That’s right! You can actually go there, join in and socialize in 4D with other magicians. No pop up adverts, pictures of lol cats from friends you don’t really know, and no chance of your mum posting embarrassing comments. Best of all, you don’t need to worry about how much charge you have left in your phone battery.
The Magic Circle meets every Monday night at their headquarters in Central London. You can find out about joining The Magic Circle here
If you prefer to keep your magic socialising firmly on-line, then check out the Magic Circle Facebook page and give them a ‘like’.
Their Facebook page is a great place to find out about news from the club, competitions, events and magic awards. It’s also the place to find out about tickets for some of the shows and events that The Magic Circle stages throughout the year. You will be in good company, with some of the top magicians in the UK posting and discussing magic.
Why is The Magic Circle on Facebook?
Hang on! Isn’t the Magic Circle supposed to be a closed club for magicians? What’s it doing on Facebook?
Your right in thinking that the Magic Circle is a private club for magicians, but it’s also committed to moving with the times. Magic clubs, are by their nature, social groups. The Magic Circle wants to reach out to magicians everywhere and send out an invitation. If you are a practicing magician, with a real love for the art, it wants you as a member. The Magic Circle understands that more and more magicians have moved their interaction with other magicians on-line. It’s moved with the times to stay relevant.
You won’t find magic tricks exposed publicly, but you will find other magicians that are just as mad about magic as you are. After all, if your going to obsess about magic 24-7 why not do it in a group where it’s considered normal 🙂
